I’m Shater, a product designer at CostGraph.ai, where I lead design on the team building it. I set the direction and look after the design system, down to the React those designs turn into.

The best way to describe myself is a “Systemic Native”. Everything I do is grounded in some sort of system, and that shows up in the work whether I’m in Figma or in the codebase.

You can see it in how my projects connect. KernUI is a design system used by 1,200+ designers and developers. I built Luotain on its tokens, then pulled Luotain’s inputs out into Yöte, an open-source React library anyone can install.

Luotain Designed, built and shipped solo. A link and its QR code are one object, with their own scan data. CostGraph.ai Design direction, the design system and the product UI, built from zero with the team. Yöte Open-source React inputs. Zero dependencies, 24KB, one set of props across nine fields. Lönar Co-founder. Shipped the free invoice generator first, then built the platform on its feedback.
