About
The best way to describe myself is a “Systemic Native”. Everything I do is grounded in some sort of system, and that shows up in the work whether I’m in Figma or in the codebase. I design first, prototype in code, then ship it. Most of my work has been for developer tools, so designing for a technical audience is just the job I’ve had.
Experience
Product Designer, CostGraph.ai
- Lead design on the team building CostGraph, from the direction to the design system and the React those designs turn into.
- Built the design system the product runs on. Tokens, components and motion rules, designed as primitives that extend and combine rather than getting rebuilt per screen, shipped as its own package.
- Designed GraphAI, our LLM tool for cost analysis. The hard part was showing what the agent is actually doing without burying the simple version of the screen under it.
Product Designer, Hackmamba
- Set the product direction for a developer marketing agency working with Auth0, Appwrite, Netlify, Replit, Cloudinary, Mintlify and Sourcegraph, and led sub-products off it, including Boki, a platform for writing and shipping technical content.
- Designed the surfaces that decide whether a developer sticks: documentation, onboarding and getting-started flows.
Product Designer, Volla Finance
- Designed and tested the interface for Volla’s mobile app, which makes payments across borders simple for Africans at home and abroad.
Side projects
Luotain, link and QR analytics
- Every link has a QR code, every code has its own scan data, and the destination stays editable after it’s printed.
- The homepage is the product, and a link made before signing up follows you into your account. Designed and built end to end on Next.js, Postgres and my own design system.
Yöte, React form inputs
- Nine fields with one shared set of props. Zero dependencies, 24KB, TypeScript, on npm as yote-ui, with agent skills so AI tools build inputs the same way.
KernUI, design system
- A production UI kit used by 1,200+ designers and developers: 3,000+ components, 1,600+ icons, light and dark theming, and a token system underneath all of it.
Lönar, invoicing
- Invoicing that works before you sign up. Making the account optional instead of a gate was the whole design problem, and most features came from research I ran myself.
